2.4-liter L4 turbo engine
The 2.4-liter inline 4-cylinder turbo engine revs pleasantly in response to accelerator input, providing outstanding acceleration response and ample driving power. Based on TNGA engine technology, it features a high-efficiency twin-scroll turbocharger, center direct injection system, and DC motor-controlled variable cooling system. Utilizing the ample torque it delivers powerful, dynamic performance together with excellent environmental performance and low fuel consumption.

TRANSMISSION DIRECT SHIFT-8AT

The Direct Shift-8AT, an 8-speed automatic transmission, balances driving performance that’s rich in direct feel with excellent fuel economy. Paired with the 2.4-liter turbo engine, it was refined to realize powerful performance with the hallmark low-rpm response of a turbo powerplant. Paired with the 2.5-liter gasoline engine, the gear ratios were optimized to deliver sharp performance together with outstanding fuel economy. The AT’s control algorithm anticipates continuously changing road conditions and driver intentions based on control inputs to allow engine output and gear selections that suit the driving environment. It provides excellent fuel economy and quietness while cruising, and heightens driving enjoyment with driver gear selection when you want to drive more actively.

HYBRID 2.5-LITER L4 ENGINE

The 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine provides linear, smooth acceleration in response to the driver’s acceleration operation. It realizes high-speed combustion through the use of high-efficiency intake ports to increase airflow in the combustion chamber. In addition, advanced technologies including multi-hole direct injectors, continuously variable-capacity oil pump, variable cooling system, and VVT-iE further contribute to powerful performance together with outstanding fuel efficiency and
a high level of environmental performance.

Has been adopted in turbo models to optimize the front/rear drive torque distribution in keeping with the driving conditions, allowing the driver to confidently control the vehicle as intended. The system provides exhilarating yet refined control from normal to aggressive driving, allowing control using the accelerator for smooth vehicle behavior from corner entry to exit, enabling turns faithful to steering operation, and providing strong transmission of traction on various road surfaces. SPINDLE GRILLE FRONT DESIGN

The front fascia features a refined Spindle Grille with a tightened, aerodynamic form that gives the vehicle a bold and confident presence. U-shaped elements create a 3D depth effect, while lower openings enhance cooling performance, highlighting its strong SUV character.

HANDS-FREE POWER BACK DOOR

Even when your hands are full, you can automatically open or close the power back door by simply kicking your foot under the rear bumper while carrying the smart key. The system delivers quicker, quieter operation, with an audio alert guiding you on the right moment to move your foot away.

PANORAMIC ROOF

An outer sliding mechanism slides the glass above the roof to create a spacious open feeling in the rear seats.

TAZUNA CONCEPT

LUGGAGE SPACE

The cargo area offers generous capacity that can be expanded by folding the rear seats, with convenient side pockets for small items. Side and rear lights provide excellent visibility at night, while the easily foldable tonneau board allows flexible space configuration. The lightweight, dual-fold luggage cover can also be stored under the floor when not in use.

TOUCH-SENSITIVE SWITCHES

This feature lets the driver identify the steering wheel controls by touch, with their functions displayed on the head-up display for intuitive, distraction-free driving. When the head-up display is off, the information appears on the instrument panel.

INTERIOR ILLUMINATION

Soft ambient lighting enhances the cabin’s materials and design, with 14 nature-inspired colors that create a calm, luxurious atmosphere rooted in “Omotenashi.” Drivers can further customize the mood with an additional selection of 50 colors through the center display.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL

This system uses radar and a monocular camera to maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead while keeping a set speed. It also slows the car on curves for smoother, more comfortable driving without disabling the system.

FRONT CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT

Helps protect your vehicle at busy intersections by detecting approaching cars and bicycles up to 50 meters ahead using front-side radar. Alerts appear on the Head-up Display 2–4 seconds before crossing, with audio warnings if the vehicle continues moving forward. With adjustable sensitivity levels, it provides added confidence in heavy traffic and low-visibility conditions.

LANE TRACING ASSIST (LTA)

On highways or designated roads, LTA helps keep the vehicle centered in its lane, providing steering support through light curves to reduce swaying and ensure a stable, comfortable drive.

BLADESCAN AHS (ADAPTIVE HIGH-BEAM SYSTEM)

An advanced lighting technology that uses rotating blade mirrors to precisely control LED beams, enhancing night visibility while preventing glare for oncoming drivers and ensuring a safer, more comfortable driving experience.

LOW-SPEED ACCELERATION SUPPRESSION

This feature enhances safety in low-speed and congested driving conditions by detecting pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles ahead. When an object is detected and the accelerator is not pressed, the system automatically limits acceleration to help prevent or reduce the impact of a potential collision.
If the vehicle comes to a full stop, braking is maintained until the driver presses the accelerator or brake pedal.

INTERSECTION ASSISTANCE (CROSSING VEHICLES DETECTION)

This system supports the driver when navigating intersections by detecting vehicles and motorcycles approaching from the sides. If a potential collision is detected, the system alerts the driver immediately and activates the brakes to help reduce the risk or impact of a collision.

INTERSECTION ASSISTANCE (RIGHT/LEFT TURN SUPPORT)

When turning right or left at intersections, the system uses millimeter-wave radar and a monocular camera to detect oncoming vehicles traveling straight, as well as crossing pedestrians and cyclists. If a potential collision is detected, the system alerts the driver and activates the brakes to help avoid or reduce the severity of an impact.

SAFE EXIT ASSIST (SEA)

The system detects vehicles and bicycles approaching from behind when passengers exit the vehicle, lighting an indicator in the door mirror to alert them. If a passenger attempts to open a door while a risk is detected, the system cancels the action and issues visual and audible warnings to ensure their safety.

PARKING SUPPORT BRAKE (PKSB)

The Parking Support Brake helps reduce damage from collisions with stationary objects, pedestrians, or vehicles when reversing or parking, providing visual and audible alerts. If a collision is likely, the system automatically applies the brakes to protect the vehicle and its occupants.

SUPPLEMENTARY RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) AIRBAGS

Front seats are equipped with SRS airbags that respond to frontal collisions, while the driver’s knee airbag absorbs and distributes impact forces to limit lower limb movement. Side and curtain airbags protect occupants during side impacts, enhancing overall cabin safety.

NX PREMIUM SOUND SYSTEM

Featuring 10 speakers and a high-performance amplifier, the system delivers an immersive and realistic audio experience. Reflex Bass speakers cover low, mid, and high tones, while the subwoofer provides deep, clear bass for an exceptional listening experience.

COLOR HEAD-UP DISPLAY (HUD)

The color head-up display projects essential driving information directly onto the windshield, allowing the driver to stay focused on the road. It offers three customizable display modes that enhance the driving experience without compromising road visibility or awareness of the surroundings.

WIRELESS CHARGER

Set inside the front box with lid, it enables wireless charging of Qi-compatible smartphones and electronic devices

E-LATCH

An e-latch system replaces the conventional door latch/unlatch mechanism with an electronic control that opens and closes doors smoothly.

A Digital Rear-view Mirror displays images from the backup camera at the rear of the vehicle on the in-mirror display.

CENTRAL DISPLAY
