This advanced engine combines powerful and exciting acceleration, thanks to the constant torque from the twin turbos, with the operating quietness befitting a flagship vehicle. HYBRID SYSTEM

The 10-speed transmission control in the hybrid system provides an exceptional improvement in driving performance, with a direct and continuous acceleration feel that matches the increase in engine RPM, along with an excellent gear-shifting rhythm. Battery support during acceleration at common urban driving speeds also increases the smoothness of acceleration when starting. At the same time, low engine RPM during startup reduces noise levels and enhances quietness.

SUSPENSION

To achieve driving and ride comfort befitting a flagship car, the damping force in the Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS), the stabilizer spring rate, and the vertical wheel springs have been tuned with high precision to efficiently reduce shocks and vibrations. Strengthening the rigidity of the connections that link the rear suspension assembly to the chassis also contributes to improving driving stability and ride comfort.

Rear Lamps

A continuous light bar with L-shaped lamps highlights the LS’s unique identity, with the Lexus logo glowing elegantly for a modern touch.

Headlamps

A triple-lens lamp unit above and innovative Blade Scan AHS lamps below. The L-shaped LED & DRL lamps in the center provide a soft welcome lighting (Fade-in) when opening the doors and a farewell (Fade-out) when locking them.

Moon roof

The system uses an external sliding mechanism that lifts the glass above the roof to create a sense of spaciousness in the rear seats.

Hands-Free Power Back Door

Even if your hands are full, you can automatically open and close the trunk lid simply by moving your foot under the rear bumper, provided you are carrying the electronic key.

Way Power Rear Seats with Ottoman

Power seats use motors and a pneumatic system that inflates and deflates air bladders to precisely adjust every aspect of comfort. The rear space behind the front passenger seat provides up to 1020 mm of legroom, with an electric ottoman that supports the lower legs for ultimate comfort. Three presets are available for the seats:
• Business: The standard position.
• Entertain: Recline the seatback to a comfortable angle and adjust the front passenger seat for an ideal view of the rear seat screen.
• Relax: Pushes the front passenger seat forward and deeply reclines the rear seatback to utilize the maximum possible space.

Cool Box

Chilled air from the rear cooler is circulated into the box space through the cool box to keep its contents cold. The airflow through the vents can be turned on or off as needed.

28-Way Power Front Seats

Enhanced support for different physiques provides a sense of unity with the vehicle, as shoulder, hip, and side bolster support helps stabilize body posture during braking and cornering. Frequently used functions such as sliding, reclining, and raising/lowering the headrest are controlled via switches on the sides of the seats. Both seats can be precisely adjusted through the EMV screen. Additionally, the driver can independently control the front passenger seat to adjust it for the comfort of rear passengers.

Heater and Ventilation Switches / Console Box

Seat heater, steering wheel heater, seat ventilation, and rear sunshade switches are integrated into the upper console. The concave shape of the console box lid allows for smartphone storage. The depth of the storage area is carefully designed to ensure easy gear shifter operation and phone access. A wireless charger is available inside the storage space to enhance convenience.

SEA (Safe Exit Assist)

The door opening control uses the BSM to detect vehicles (including bicycles) approaching from the rear when exiting the vehicle.

LTA (Lane Tracing Assist)

When driving on expressways or automobile-only roads with lane lines using Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, the system helps assist the steering operation required to keep the vehicle in its lane.

Dynamic Radar Cruise Control

Cruise Control uses the millimeter-wave radar and monocular camera sensors to detect a vehicle driving ahead and maintain an appropriate distance between vehicles.

BladeScan AHS (Adaptive High-beam System)

An advanced lighting technology that uses rotating blade mirrors to precisely control LED beams, enhancing night visibility while preventing glare for oncoming drivers and ensuring a safer, more comfortable driving experience.

Touch display

The 12.3-inch touchscreen supports intuitive control of navigation, audio, and other systems by touching the screen directly like a smartphone. Its position is carefully designed to enable fingertip operation without losing forward vision or driving posture. It is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless interaction with phone applications.

Mark Levinson QLI Reference Surround

The 16-channel, 23-speaker 3D surround sound system uses the PurePlay concept, where seven 10cm Unity speakers are placed at the same height around the cabin, bringing them closer to passengers' ears to create a dynamic 3D soundstage. In addition to ceiling speakers, the QLI (Quantum Logic Immersion) system fills the cabin with a unified sound that mimics live theater realism with precise sound source localization, clarity, and power. Clari-Fi technology also restores lost sound components in compressed files to retrieve natural sounds and stereo ambiance, presenting music as close to the original as possible.

Rear Seat Entertainment System

The system includes two 11.6-inch screens. Blu-ray player, an SD card slot, and an HDMI port for connecting computers or other devices. Passengers can also enjoy videos and music from their mobile devices.

Multi-Operation Panel for Rear Passengers

The multi-operation panel integrated into the rear armrest puts intuitive control of audio, climate, seat adjustments, relaxation functions, sunshades, and lighting at the passengers' fingertips. An intuitive graphical interface that groups frequently used functions simplifies the operation process.
